To note the election of Professor Luc Bidaut to Court as a professorial member of the Senatus in accordance with Ordinance 18.
(3)Emergency Committee
The Court is invited to follow precedent in remitting the transaction of any urgent routine Court business over the summer to an Emergency Committee, comprising the Principal or a Vice-Principal (Convener), two lay members (normally the Chairman of Court and the Convener of the Finance & Policy Committee) and one other academic member – subject to a report on any action taken being submitted to the first business meeting of the Court in 2014/15. It is further proposed that, should any urgent items arise that relate to Organisational Change Proposals or the operation of the Redundancy Committee, these be dealt with at an additional meeting of Court and not by the Emergency Committee.
